Privacy
Your information, plainly.
Who runs this site
builttobereplaced.com is run by Brandon Freitag, the author of Built to Be Replaced. Questions about anything on this page go to hello@worththatholds.com.
What’s collected, and why
The site collects information only when you fill in one of its forms.
- Get notified: your email address, used to tell you when preorders open and when the book is out.
- Launch crew: your name and email address, used to send you the early chapters and notes about the launch.
Sign-ups are stored in a Google Sheet in Brandon’s Google Workspace account, and emails are sent from that account. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else, and it isn’t used for anything beyond what you signed up for.
How long it’s kept, and your choices
Your information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To see, correct, or delete what’s stored about you, email hello@worththatholds.com and it will be handled promptly. Signing up is your consent to these emails, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Visitor statistics
The site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records pages viewed, referring sites, and general device and country information, and counts sign-ups on each form without recording names or email addresses. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you or follow you across other sites.
Hosting and cookies
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations. The site sets no cookies, loads its fonts from its own server, and runs no advertising or third-party tracking. Emails carry no open-tracking pixels.
Because the site doesn’t track visitors across other sites or sell or share personal information, it responds the same way to every browser: Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals need no separate handling, and nothing changes when they are sent.
Other sites
Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn or online retailers, are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
